It’s time to recap Round 2 of the Convergence Box sealed event between me and Greg. We finally cracked all six legendaries, and it turned out to be a good box — no Crime Lords! I’ll report on who went home with which legendaries, while also praising Greg for a selfless act of kindness. The second half of the show features Greg and I breaking down some of the data from my Convergence Legendaries Box Pulls Survey. We discuss legendary distribution, best and worst boxes in terms of monetary value, and how the survey could be improved for Spark of Hope. Thank you to everyone that submitted their pulls — we have 375 boxes reported in to date!

Our Convergence Split Box
Greg and I finished playing through the second half of our split Convergence booster box. I won the first battle earlier in May, but he took the second, meaning I would have first pick of the legendary cards and he would have second, before alternating over the final four.

I took Megablaster Troopers with the first pick. Palpatine could have easily gone second given his value over the other cards, but Greg wasn’t sold on playing single-die Palpatine. Even though he could have taken him just to sell him, he instead left him in the pool for me to grab by taking Enfys Nest. It was a classy move, and now I have elite Palp! Greg confessed to be the least excited about Quicksilver Baton, so I grabbed that with my final pick, giving him Padmé Amidala to go with Chewie’s Blaster Rifle that he claimed after I took Palpatine. Not a bad box overall — no LAAT or Crime Lord!

This episode’s Booster Pack
I’ll be opening a brand new booster each episode and discussing the cards inside. Here’s this episode’s pull, from another Convergence booster pack, once again graciously provided by Trey at Kingwood Hobbies.

While it’s cool to have pulled two blue rares in a row, I’m not that excited about Force Pull. The uncommon cardConveyex Robbery seems unplayable given its cost, but Fatal Blow can be a killer event in the right deck.
