Who’s ready to talk some Destiny? On this episode, I break down my first experience with the Allies of Necessity draft kit, as Greg and I crack into our split box of Convergence for a sealed battle. Next, I talk about some recent standard games running Grievous/Armored Reinforcement and then Palpatine/Dengar. Spoiler alert: Turns out the latter one is not so good.

The More Dice the Merrier

Turns out slinging a bunch of dice all at once is a whole lot of fun. Playing Palpatine/Dengar, I once had eight abilities and a saber on the Mr.Unlimited Power, allowing me to roll 10 dice into the pool. Still lost the game though, thanks to a sneaky battlefield claim of Arena of Death.
This episode’s Booster Pack
I’ll be opening a brand new booster each episode and discussing the cards inside. Here’s this episode’s pull, from another Convergence booster pack. This pack was graciously provided by Trey at Kingwood Hobbies.

Finally another blue rare! Excited to pull my first Lor San Tekka. Shock Collar — although largely unplayable in most formats — shows up in the pack to become the undisputed MVP of the episode, hence the title.
Because Free Money is Nice
At the end of the pod, I discuss a new affiliation with ebates.com. As a new user, I used an ebates promotion to get $10 back when I bought two General Grievous starter decks on ebay last month. You can take advantage of the same deal, earning $10 back on a qualifying purchase of $25 or more. Plus, if you sign up using the referral link below and take advantage of the $10 back offer, Jank It Up, Fuzzball will receive a commission. If you’re a frequent online shopper, it’s an easy way to earn $10 for yourself while also supporting the pod.
