In preparation for our big, janky Solidarity tournament in Houston on February 23rd at Kingwood Hobbies, I decided to go on Facebook Live to build a 45-card deck in real-time, using only the cards I have in my collection. The resulting video is posted below, as is the final deck list and few other comments. If you’re in the southeast Houston area, we hope to see you on the 23rd. The prize pool is already INSANE and continues to grow!
So, if you’re new to Jank It Up, Fuzzball, some context will help. I’m a casual player, and this website/podcast is dedicated more or less my own adventures in the game. I don’t go out and buy expensive cards, instead hoping to crack a few naturally along the way. For this exercise, I really wanted to just go through my own cards and see what I could build, as if the tournament was TODAY. So, yes, I’m sure there are many improvements I could make with some extra dollars and some time, but here’s what I ended up with:

If you watch the video, you’ll see me work through decisions on characters and cards, and hear me talk about which cards I cut down from and why. This was also built very much “in the moment”, without any prior thought. I imagine if I really wanted to bring Yellow villain to the tournament on the 23rd, I might make some edits.
How about you? Ever built a 45-card deck where every card had to be unique? It’s a fun exercise that I encourage you to do. Post your list and let me know — I’d love to see your own creations.
