This is it! The last show before going to Worlds in Minnesota. I’m pleased to present my deck choice for the main event, even though the character pairing should come as no surprise to regular listeners. I recap how the deck did in some limited testing and talk about why I feel it’s the best choice for me. Then – as always – we crack a pack!
This episode’s AKA: Maul — Skilled Jankist
My Worlds Deck!
It shouldn’t be too big a surprise of fans of the show that I’ve decided to play Maul at Worlds. Here’s what I have as of the time of recording. If you have any suggestions, hit me up in the comments below or on Twitter!

Other Show Notes
- If you’re at Worlds, come say hello at the Friday Night meetup. I’ll be giving out 50 Jank It Up, Fuzzball Worlds 2019 drink coasters.
- Check out Coaxium Gaming, a new Star Wars Destiny content site from Trey of Kingwood Hobbies. Here’s Trey’s report on his Top 4 finish from the Fort Worth Prime.
- If I learned one thing from 1987’s Dirty Dancing, it’s that when you’re wrong, you should say you’re wrong. Last episode I talked about ignoring the errata to Snoke’s Power Action because Greg and I were playing sealed. I was wrong in this understanding, however, as card errata apply to all formats. It is only the Balance of the Force for character points that doesn’t apply during draft and sealed. My bad. #TheMoreYouKnow
This episode’s Booster Pack
I’ll be opening a brand new booster each episode and discussing the cards inside. Here’s this episode’s pull, from the one booster pack of Spark of Hope that was generously provided by Kingwood Hobbies.

Here’s Rey! Excited to pull her but really hoping not to see too much of her and Kylo on Friday at Worlds. Maybe this is a good omen? Glad to finally have a copy of Droids’ Day Out, even if it’s been placed on the Restricted List.
Rakuten Promotional Offer
If you do a lot of online shopping and are into free money, give Rakuten a try. I used a Rakuten promotion to get $10 back when I bought two General Grievous starter decks earlier this year. You can take advantage of the same deal, earning $10 back after making qualifying purchases of $25 or more. Plus, if you sign up using the referral link below and take advantage of the $10 back offer, Jank It Up, Fuzzball will receive a commission. If you’re a frequent online shopper, it’s an easy way to earn $10 for yourself while also supporting the pod!
