We did it! Jank It Up, Fuzzball, along with with Kingwood Hobbies and Aegis Creative Company staged a 45-card Solidarity tournament this past weeked. Twenty-four players from around the Houston area brought their best Solidarity decks comprised of 45 unique cards to do battle over five rounds of Swiss and a Top Cut. This episode recaps the event — how it came together, which decks were brought, and ultimately who won a spot gloss Darth Vader!
This episode’s AKA: Jank Dameron, More Than a Pilot

- Tournament Stream on Twitch – Aegis Creative Company provided an awesome three-camera setup to stream the Swiss rounds and Top Cut. Relive the excitement of some Solidarity jank! Semifinal matchup between Jabba/Han and Vader/Luce starts at 4:40:00; Finals starts around 5:12:00.
- Kingwood Hobbies – Trey did a fantastic job hosting 24 players in his house and running the tournament. Prize support was top notch! Check out his online store. He will ship worldwide!
- Aegis Creative Company – Press provided all the streaming in addition to a huge chunk of prize support. He manufactured the dice trays each participant received, custom resource tokens for Jank It Up, Fuzzball to hand out, and even a light-up Sith Holocron that was given out.
Tournament Day!
We had 24 players bringing their best Solidarity builds for an afternoon of Star Wars Destiny.

And what did everyone bring, you might ask?

Prizes and Other Swag!
HUGE props to Trey at Kingwood Hobbies for providing awesome prizes for the Top 4 and also handing out some amazing door prizes (THE Vader from San Diego, Spot Gloss Yoda, Talzin/Plo Koon flip card, etc). A second big shout out to Press at Aegis Creative Company for manufacturing additional prize support for me, such as these Jank It Up, Fuzzball resource tokens and a light-up Sith Holocron. What’s more — each and every player received a dice pool tray with the event’s name and date etched into it. No more dice being knocked around by other dice being rolled in!
Here’s what I came home with:

My new Alt-Art
In wanting to provide some prize support of my own, I created a brand new alt-art card for the event. I wanted to hand out something a little janky, but also gray and neutral so that it could (in theory) be included in any deck at the tournament. To be honest, though, I’m pretty sure it was only included in mine. So here it is, FIGHT BACK!

A janky little card indeed. I do hope the participants slide it into their Rivals kit right before they put it on the shelf to make room for Allies of Necessity. Bad timing on my part!
This episode’s Booster Pack
I’ll be opening a brand new booster each episode and discussing the cards inside. Here’s this week’s pull, from an Across the Galaxy pack provided by Kingwood Hobbies. Big thanks to Trey for sponsoring this segment!

I’m actually very excited to get my first Clone Commander Cody! While Theed Royal Palace is destined to be nerfed, it’s still far and away the most used battlefield in the current meta. Those cards, along with a trio of cheap events in all three colors, makes this a pretty solid pack. Thank you Kingwood Hobbies! You can track this opening and previous booster openings over on the Cracked Packs page.
